Adidas and Prada Unveil Their Second Collab
Adidas and Prada have unveiled their second collaboration with the creation of the Prada Superstar. Now retailing alone, the iconic Superstar style is offered in a trio of new colorways: monochrome black, white with black, and chrome silver with white. A new decade, a new point of view says adidas.
This step of the ongoing collaboration between Prada and adidas emphasizes qualities shared by and synonymous with each: collaboration, innate respect for heritage and a passion for sport.
The Prada Superstar sneaker has been executed with the utmost precision by the Italian brand’s footwear specialists fusing the lexicon of luxury with the language of high-performance sportswear in a style of shoe that has always been, in and of itself, unique and groundbreaking.
Made in Italy in 1969, the Superstar silhouette is inherently modern, entirely unisex, and has been reimagined into full-grain leather while keeping the integrity of the classic. Both Prada and adidas logos are stamped merging athletics with the luxury fashion house in a subtle, decorative way.
The new Prada Superstar will launch Sept. 8, via Prada boutiques and adidas flagship stores worldwide, alongside selected wholesalers.
