Hello May! & The Biggest Month Yet

Hello May! Every month I look forward to these posts and strangely enough, many of you do as well. It’s one of the most viewed posts on sarafinasaid, which I don’t really understand, but anywho. I believe this is the biggest month yet for SO many reasons. I can’t wait to share, but for now, trust that BIG things are coming. Many positive life changes that I didn’t even think was possible just a few short months ago, but here we are.

The coronavirus pandemic is still a daily constant, but more states around the country are loosening restrictions and soon enough [months possibly] life will be back to “normal” and the daily rat race will continue. For many, this is a time of reflection, processing, and understanding emotions and feelings we are often too busy to feel. I believe the dust is beginning to settle and the truth of who we really are as a planet, nation and as individuals are springing forth. What will you do with it?

“When we are children we seldom think of the future. This innocence leaves us free to enjoy ourselves as few adults can. The day we fret about the future is the day we leave our childhood behind.”
― Patrick Rothfuss

“Hell is the absence of the people you long for.” —  Emily St. John Mandel

“We are all alone, born alone, die alone, and—in spite of True Romance magazines—we shall all someday look back on our lives and see that, in spite of our company, we were alone the whole way. I do not say lonely—at least, not all the time—but essentially, and finally, alone. This is what makes your self-respect so important, and I don’t see how you can respect yourself if you must look in the hearts and minds of others for your happiness.”
― Hunter S. Thompson
