After a very public feud with her previous employer former MSNBC host Melissa Harris-Perry has a new job as Editor-at-Large at ELLE.com.

My work for https://t.co/yh3CUj7lSG will focus on issues of race & gender, primarily through telling the stories of women & girls of color

MHP will obviously fill a role at ELLE that they seem to struggle with such as insensitive stories on race, culture and appropriation.
Hopefully, those blind spots will have a new set of eyes, but Perry has her own track record that will leave many wondering if she can or will make an impact at the often tone deaf publication.
