Nike announced today it will close all of its Nike-owned and operated stores around the globe due to the spread of COVID-19, the disease caused by the coronavirus. Nike joins several retailers who have decided to temporarily close their doors as local governments around the country increasingly enact stay-in-place measures.
Nike’s Statement on COVID-19
“For the continued safety and well-being of our teammates and customers, our Nike owned and operated stores will remain temporarily closed in multiple countries around the world. Stores in select locations are open based on guidance from health and government authorities.”
