Rihanna Debuts Fenty Skin — Out Now
Rihanna has debuted her latest venture Fenty Skin, which she dubs the new era of skincare. Coming off the mega-success of her cosmetics brand Fenty Beauty, the award-winning singer and beauty and fashion entrepreneur says the three-product line is made as simple as possible for all skin types.
“The inspiration behind Fenty Skin was just creating that foundation. Whether you wear light makeup, heavy makeup, whatever you prefer or are in the mood for, there is always a great foundation underneath that,” Rihanna said in a video. “I wanted to focus on a few amount of products that I feel like you need and I wanted to isolate each one of those and perfect them.”
The Fenty Skin Lineup

Total Cleans’r Remove-It-All Cleanser, $25 – use it morning and night to cleanse off all that dirt, oil, and impurities— plus it doubles as a makeup remover! It works into a decadent lather that purifies pores & helps fight shine after it’s rinsed it off and won’t leave skin feeling stripped or dry. The cleanser is made with antioxidant-packed Barbados cherry.

Fat Water Pore-Refining Toner Serum, $28 – a 2-in-1 toner and serum that has a unique thick texture so you can apply it directly into your hands — Rihanna says no cotton pad needed! Fat Water includes ingredients like niacinamide that reduces the look of dark spots and Barbados cherry that helps brighten skin.

Hydra Vizor Invisible Moisturizer Broad Spectrum SPF 30 Sunscreen, $35 – a 2-in-1 sunscreen and moisturizer that defends and brightens skin while reducing the look of pores. Fenty says no white cast, no pilling and zero flashback.
The moisturizer is made with Kalahari melon, a wild watermelon that’s rich in antioxidants and vitamins and helps hydrate. There’s also niacinamide (a form of Vitamin B3) that helps reduce the look of dark spots, even skin tone, and fight excess shine. Then there’s hyaluronic acid & aloe to help hydrate, soothe, and condition.
Rihanna wants the public to know Fenty Skin is for men as well, hence rapper A$AP Rocky and Lil Nas X cameos in the brand’s first campaign. Building up to the release people have pointed out that the products have fragrance in the ingredient list — a big no-no for a lot of skin lovers.
According to People, Rihanna said Fenty Skin never uses “more than 1% of a synthetic fragrance.” She added, “If we do, we don’t hide it, you will always know about it. We’re a clean brand, we’re a very honest brand.”
