Recently I went to two of my favorite places to do a little browsing. I went on a mission to buy some favorites as well as some highly rated products. I am fully natural now [again] so of course I am on the hunt for products to keep in my arsenal. Check out what I bought, reviews and swatches below…
e.l.f. Blush Palette in Dark, $6
I was really impressed by this blush palette from e.l.f. in dark. The colors are really pretty and perfect for brown and black girls. There are two matte shades and two illuminating shades. Can’t wait to give this a try.
Herbal Essences Hello Hydration Conditioner, $ 2.97
I’ve heard great things about this conditioner from a lot of hair experts I follow. I haven’t tested it yet, but I plan to in a few days on my “wash day.”
Lush Amazon Candle, $5
I love Target’s candles. I love to smell nice fragrances as ambiance is really important to me, so I picked this one up and it smells heavenly.
Black Radiance Perfect Tone Lip Color in Mod Mocha Matte & Retro Berry Matte, $1.99
I really like the lip colors especially for a drug store product. My only critique is the colors do bleed, however not bad for $1.99.
Black Radiance Pressed Power in Creamy Beige, $4.99
I bought this from CVS to further define my contour when I do my makeup. I will let you guys know what I think soon.
Mixed Chicks Leave-In Conditioner, $3
This was another product that got rave reviews from naturals that I decided to try, so I got the sample size from Target for about three dollars. I’ve used it and I like it, but the verdict is still out.
Carol’s Daughter Mimosa Hair Honey, $3
I happen to run across this and decided to give it a try. It’s basically hair grease that can also be used as a pomade. It smells delicious!
Shea Moisture Curl Enhancing Smoothie, $3
Another highly rated product. I used it for my wash and go. Pretty good.
Shea Moisture Coconut & Hibiscus Hold & Shine Moisture Mist, $7.99
I used this in my wash and go. It’s supposed to add moisture and shine as a mist, but also acts as a holding spray. You can also use it as a style refresher.
Carol’s Daughter Black Vanilla Leave-In Conditioner, $3
I love this product I use it everyday to refresh my hair along with the Shea Moisture Hold & Shine Moisture Mist. I got the trial size from Target.
Stay tuned for my Bath & Body Works Haul!
